"Horton Point Lighthouse" Glicee Print
"Horton Point Lighthouse" Glicee Print
Horton’s Point Lighthouse in Southold NY was commissioned in 1790 during George Washington’s presidency. It was later built in 1857 and is still in operation today to warn ships of the rocky shores in the Long Island Sound. The structure has a soft unusual off white hue, which I strove to capture while painting it En Plein Air (translated in the open air).
This item listing is for the unframed print only, it's showed in a frame for a suggestion of framing possibilities. Note- print has a white border around the edges.
